The Cooper Foundation is pleased to offer free board governance training 2-3 times a year to current nonprofit board members, potential board members, and nonprofit staff.  This training will be offered multiple times each year so that nonprofit boards can ensure that new board members are trained in board governance.

The Nonprofit Network is a monthly gathering of area nonprofit agencies. The free meetings provide an opportunity for networking, peer learning, and capacity building. Each meeting includes a light breakfast, time for networking, and a presentation.

Attendees are encouraged to bring along promotional materials for upcoming events and projects and place them on the tables.

The meetings are held on the third Thursday of September-May (except for December) at the Texas Life Annex (1000 Washington Avenue, Waco).
